Apologies for the delay. Due to hardware limitations, the development of the Mac version of Datamosher-Pro was initially put on hold. However, work has recently resumed, with a strong focus on resolving remaining bugs to ensure a stable release. While it will take some time, progress is actively underway. 

Yes, we have recently implemented the live moshing option for FFglitch tools. Now you can immediately view the script effects in your videos, or even use your webcam to scare others during live meetings. To record, or stream we recommend OBS.

The Python version of Datamosher-Pro is completely open-source, designed for users who may not be able to invest in the full version. It includes nearly all major effects but features a more minimalistic UI with fewer functionalities. Hello, I’m Akascape, the creator of Datamosher-Pro. This project started in 2022 as a simple experiment after I stumbled upon mesmerizing datamoshing effects in music videos. Something about it instantly sparked my curiosity, and I dove deep into researching how these glitches were created.

I quickly realized that there were very few dedicated tools for datamoshing—most people relied on outdated software like Avidemux. That’s when I decided to build something new, entirely focused on datamoshing and glitch art. The support from the community has been incredible, and seeing it grow has been truly inspiring.
